As most of you know our beloved principle, Art Crook, has resigned from Heritage. He is now the new principal at
Station Camp High School. I was quite devistated when I heard this news. For weeks I searched every newspaper,
questioned every teacher, and even called the school board wondering who would fill the Crook's shoes. Well finally
I stumbled upon some news. (haha that rhymed) Our new principal will be Kerry Bagget, former assistant principal
for Greenbrier High School. He has even served as the guidance counselor for Greenbrier. Bagget has
been in the Robertson County School Board for years. Will he be able to fill Crook's place? Can he handle the
Heritage Patriots? I guess we will soon find out. I'm looking forward to this school year...it will be very interesting.

I am quite sure most of you have noticed the drastic increase in students at WHH. The faculty has grown and there
are over 700 students at Heritage. Though with the growing safety concerns, Heritage students that use the parking
lot will be required to perchase a car tag from the office. ($10.00) Students who drive to school and do not have
a car tag will be fined. Faculty and staff will also have tags but of a different color.

So have you heard? According to a few teachers and middle schoolers, Rob. Co. wants to change the schedule to only
4 days of school a week! To me that sounds pretty good! If they do this I heard the school day will not end until
5. Yes on paper it sounds late but what's 2 hours? All I ever have to do is practice then after that sit at home
watchin Star Wars.. Well it all sounds pretty sweet to me. That extra day out of school will definately be spent with
Luke and Leia.
